History
NOOR FINDIK supplies premium hazelnuts and hazelnut products. Located on the Black Sea coast, in the heart of hazelnut country, NOOR FINDIK combines more than 60 years of industry experience with leading processing technology to deliver the highest quality to its customers.
Hazelnuts
The hazelnut has a hard shell surrounding an edible seed covered by a thin, dark-brown skin. Cultivated for more than 9,000 years, hazelnuts grow best in temperate climates near large bodies of water. Rich in protein, oleic acid and antioxidants, they are eaten both raw and roasted.
Once kernels are separated from the hard outer shells, they are ready for processing. Hazelnuts can be roasted, diced, made into meal or turned into a cream. They are eaten as a snack and used across a wide range of bakery and confectionery products.
